Young Adult Spirit Companions - First Information Meeting

Dear Young Adult,

Because you are reading this, you are probably driven by a similar curiosity as we are - "What happens when young adults join hearts, spirits and hands with Religious Sisters, in shared conversation and action for justice".

While there is no road map for "Young Adult Spirit Companions", there are a few ideas that we believe may help us along the way. Ideas do include:

• Building a community together - eating, singing, playing games...
• Prayer, meditation, adoration, other contemplative practices, offered by one of the Sisters or by one of the Spirit Companions
• Shared conversations around our faith, honoring cultural and/or ethnic differences
• Participating in social justice and social service activities, i.e. street ministry, volunteering at Catholic Worker House, Haven for Hope, Healy Murphy Center, or other ministries to people who are poor and living on the margins of society.
